This is a wonderful delicious day! And a day to be thankful!

I'm thankful for:
Second chances. A person can never have too many in life.
-My family. They've been here for me weather I know it or not.
-My friends. Ah theres to much to say about these guys but I love them all so much and I'm thankful they've been here for me through these rough times.
-I'm thankful for, the yummy mashedpotatoes I'm gonna eat today:D
-I'm thankful....for, I'm not sure. I'm just thankful for my life.

I haven't posted. I'm so busy!
Well not as much anymore so I'm gonna try and post here more often.
I was also thinking of making some updates to my blog.
I kinda wanna make this a video blog:)
But I'm not really sure soooo we'll wait to find out :D

Lockers...storage spaces or death traps?

So I was at my highschool.
Getting ready for the band performance at the halftime during the homecoming football game and some how a girl (who I greatly dislike) wedges herself into a locker and gets stuck! The door is closed and she can't get out.
The whole entire band and colorguard is standing around whispering and gossiping about her (we all think Shes the stupidest human being around now) and she's in there for 20 minutes.
One of my friends screamed, "okay guys let's back away! I think we're making her chlosterphobic...or maybe it's just the locker."
It was hilarious!!!
She finally got out with the help of five grown men and the janitor and she's like "wow! I'm okay! That wasn't scary!"
I rolled my eyes and walked away. Then I heard her talking to a friend and she was whispering,
"oh my god...I was so scared. It didn't think theyd get me out!"

She annoys me alot!
Shell do anything for attention won't she.
Bleh:/
So lesson of the day guys...
Don't get yourself stuck in a locker.

Home Sick

Im sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been really busy.
And now I'm sick I'm home all alone and very miserable. I feel terrible...agh...can't sleep, can't breathe, throat hurts...

SCARED OUTTA MY MIND!!!!!!

I'm terrified for highschool.
I have a practice day on Tuesday but I'M NOT READY!
I have no idea where my locker is. I havne't even gotten my school stuff!
I don't even have a backpack!
WHAT AM I GONNA DO?!?!? I'm so scared.
I'm gonna be so lost.
And so embarrassed...
I wanna cry I'm so scared.

I'm in a school....

But it's not my school.
My mom is a teacher and so we drove out to the school she works at and my sister and Katrina's little sister are helping out while i'm...supervising from the computer;)
I'm not being yelled at to help so I figured I'm doing a good job just watching.
there's not really much here.
Just teachers getting ready for school to start.
Classrooms that are complete messes and well books books and more books.
Looking at everything here makes me not wanna go back to school.
I just don't....
And today is gonna be kinda painful...
After we leave my mom's school...we're stopping by the middle school so I can show the girls where to go since they're starting there next week.
I'm worried I'm gonna fall apart while walking down the hallways...
That school was the best thing that has ever happened to me...
It's a part of me...
And thinking about it now hurts my heart...
I'll have to tell you if I make it through...
I should go...

So Katrina sent me this picture...and I love it. Its a poem and its the best thing ever! Because its exactly how I felt. No, correction, its how I still feel.

One Final Day

This is our last whole day here in Hilton Head.
So we're gonna make the most of it.
We're spending the day outside.
On the beach or at the pools. Trying to get what color we can until we have to go back home.
I'm gonna be burned to a crisp but it will be worth it.

Oh! and guess what?!?!?!
Yesterday we went up in a lighthouse!!!
It was really cool and really high up!(I'll post a pic when I can actually get it to work) there were ghost stories posted along the walls too and I have one here beside me but I'll post the story probably when I get home...
Anyways!
After that we went shopping and I got this really cool necklace.
It's a whole bunch of shells and A SHARKTOOTH!!!
I love the necklace its really cool. Although...When I'm wearing it the sharktooth does stab my chest.
I'm gonna go eat because I have two delicious waffles beside me.
And an ocean calling my name.

The rainy Island...

I've been hit with the curse once more.
Rain.
It followed us last year too.
Last year we were here for three days. Two of the three...there was rain. We only had one day on the beach.
This year, we're here for five days. We had one glorious day on the beach...and now it's supposed to be raining the rest of the time we're here.
i hope it passes.
I really need some color....

Greetings from North Carolina (And Hilton Head)

I'm in the mountains!!!

We drove through them most of the day yesterday....
I got pics and above is just one of the many and the best pic I took on my ipod.
We began our vacation on the Tuesday the 9th.
We drove 7 hours and ended up in Clarksville, Indiana.
Yesterday morning  we went to The Falls of the Ohio River. I saw fossil beds and climbed rocks.
I can try and post a pic or two of that:)
After the fossil beds we left and had a 6 hour drive here to Asheville, North Carolina.
Along the way, I shared a car with Katrina and her family. And well we almost got hit 3 times while we were on the highway.
The first, we were almost sandwiched between a semi and another car.
Katrina and I didn't even know what was happening. But there was honking and we were so close to the semi.
Thank god the other car slowed down and we got away from the semi.
But it was still really scary.
So we almost got hit by two veihicles then and there.
We went about another hour and almost got hit by another semi! This time it was on my side of the car. I just saw this great huge wall of semi.
It was scary....

Okay so I began this post yesterday when I was still in North Carolina.
And now I really am in Hilton Head. It was a five hour drive here and it was probably the worst. The excitement was eating me alive!
I was just at the beach and I'm wet.:) hahaha but I had to come on here and finish the post.
The weather here is really sunny and I think in the 90's.

Gotta love the nerd glasses:)

Yesterday I saw the smurf movie in 3D and afterwards my Friends and I popped out the lenses and used the glasses as...NERD GLASSES!
we got a ton of pictures. And they posted them on Facebook.
When we got back to my friends house the 3 of us dressed up like crazy people and put on the nerd classes.
And we "frolicked" down the street. We waved at cars and even got a fire truck to ring their bell at us:)!
It was fun.
Until a friend of mine drove past with his parents:/
I got really embarrassed!
But it was fun!!!

And afterwards I went shopping!
And I only spent 15 dollars. I showed some restraint!
I also got a really pretty dress:)
For only 10 dollars!!!
It's probably gonna be my homecoming dress.
I tried it on last night and felt quite pretty:)

I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow morning.
I'm going to hiltonhead island!
I made a post about every day last year on my last blog.
And so I'm gonna do the same thing this year and maybe I can get pictures to work this year:)

Way back when...

I wanted to cry today...
I wad babysitting and the kids came over to my house for a while and I was playing Polly pockets with the 4 year old.
And while I was sitting there I began to dress the little Polly pockets... All the memories came back...I felt like a kid again. Having those little doll things in my hands just made me sad...
I wanted to cry because...I remembered when I didn't have to worry about anything.
I didn't have to go though fights with my friends. I didn't have to worry about what people thought of me....I didn't have to deal with heartbreak....
I guess what I'm trying to say is....I miss being a kid...sometimes.
I mean...being a teen is cool because I'm growing up! New oprotunitues...but...I miss the old times....

But yeah. You get the point.
I have no idea where this is coming from...but I wanna...see more than just the united states.

Oops...

I haven't been on in a while.
Oops..sorry.
And it might be alittle longer until I'm fully back on blogging.
I have band camp for 4 days this week and 3 next. So I'm gonna be pretty tired.
For some reason..."Band Camp" just has some geeky sound to it...idk why. I guess its just my head.
It's really not  geeky though.
The Marching Band kids at the highschool are pretty cool...
Okay...MOST of them. Some are just...I'm not gonna go on with this topic...hahaha

Anyways, I'm not nessesarily in the band. I'm not playing clarinet with everyone.
I'm in colorguard. I dance along with the band.

Wow. You wont believe the question i got asked yesterday....

So I'm at church for an hour instrument practice with a whole bunch of my friends...
And there is this one girl who....im not even sure if she's my friend or not. We havent had a very good relationship. Shes pretty mean to me. Shes told me to my face that Im ugly and no one will love me...but thats not the point.
Ok so we're at church shes there too...
So i walk in the door and she screams at me, "Kat! you didn't text me!"
And im like..."umm...i didnt know i was supposed to?"
Shes like, "Black sweater! Remember! I borrowed it from you like two months ago and still havent given it back..." And so she starts blaming me for her forgetting my sweater...
ANYWAYS after that she says, "Hey did you get a nose job?"
And im like. "Ummmm. NO!" At this point im pretty annoyed by her and i've been talking to her for all of five minutes.
Shes like, "Oh, 'Cause you look weird."
So i said, "Well I may look a little different because i got a perm and i got my braces off..."
And she replies, "Ew. Your hair looks gross. And your teeth look weird."
So I'm like, "Wow thanks." And I walked away and started putting my clarinet together.
And then she continues on the nose job topic!
Shes like "Are you sure you didn't get a nose job?"
and im like "I'm sure!! I did NOT get a nose job! I would never want one!"
So she drops it for a little while and we start our practicing. (and everything is sounding GREAT)
But durring the practice she leans over to my friend and whispers, "Did Kat get a nose job?"
I was ready to smack her with my clarinet.
Then practice ends and i hear:
"You got a nose job. I know you did."
Then my friend Matt got involved.
"Kat would never get a nose job. Her parents would never let her-"
"and i would never want one" I had muttered.
Matt continues "-She has to pay for everything she does. She bought her ipod, she pays each month for her cell phone. If she wants something she would have to pay for it. She even had to pay for half of her perm!"
And yada yada yada...what matt was trying to say is-I couldnt afford one. haha
I'm pretty sure she left there still convinced i got a nose job.
But SERIOUSLY what is this chicks problem?!?!?!
Its like she sits at home and tries to think of new ways to insult me....
ugh. People these days.

Hey it's Monday!

Hey! That rhymed...kinda.
Hahaha I'm sitting on the stairs right now in my basement.
Thinking. And writing.
Katrina is Hiding from me in a closet with my Sis and her sis.
What they don't know is I'm on the other side of the wall.

I determined something yesterday.
I have an addiction to shopping:)
I wasn't gonna spend my money...
But I ended up spending like 40 dollars.
I got two pairs of ADORABLE sunglasses for 20 dollars
And a really cute skirt- which I am wearing now.
I'm in a better mood than I have been in the past few days.

I'm home:((

I was camping for 2 days and I miss it like crazy.
I liked spending everyday on the beach. I took walks and took pics(wich I'll try and post here)
I fell asleep by the fire...
I got to see stars and constellations.
I saw the moon. The craters.
I saw Saturn and it's rings-the things telescopes can do!
I miss hearing the sound of the waves
I miss feeling the water crash around my ankles.
I miss getting away from reality cuz instantly I'm thrown back in.
So yeah...no I'm home. My hair still smells like campfire...
I'm covered in mosquito bites.
But it was worth it...
Very worth it.
And now...I'm home.
In reality.
Where I actually have to do stuff...

Hey! Sorry....

Im sooooo sorry I haven't been on here in a few days.
I haven't gotten much access to a computer.
Right now I'm posting from my iPod in a mall.
I haven't had any time to post poems on figment either.
I've written ALOT of poems lately...
Once I post them and you read them you'll understand why I've written a bunch of poems
So...yeah. Hi.
It's Thursday. I'm sitting in a mall...trying to drink coffe.
But it's hot and I have my retainer in.
Oh! I got my braces off on Tuesday:))
I have a pretty smile now!
Hahaha.
This is an interesting mall.
It's really pretty.
But it's weird. It's early so a bunch of old people are here walking around getting exercise.
Awww old people are so cute!

I'm going camping later so I'm gonna take alot of pictures!
I'm hoping that soon I'll be able to post some of the pics I've taken on here.:)

The Beginning...

This seems like the beginning of summer:)
I was just at the pool with Kali and Katrina.
Tanning was nice but I didn't get any color...I kinda fell alseep to.
Ugh! And a whole bunch of guys from school were there. They wanted hugs...but I said no.
Kali said I should slap them...for some weird reason I couldn't.
*shrug* whatever.
I'm kinda hungry....
But I just ate a bunch of food though...yet I'm still hungry.
Sigh...
I don't think I have any good food around here...
Eh. I'll find something.
So, my room is clean!!! Yay! I can see the floor now. My desk is clean and my dresser. All the clothes are in my closet. Some of my drawers are over flowing but-whatever. Hahaha
Well...I should go. Byeee!

Wish me luck...

I'm about to clean the mess I call my bedroom.
There are clothes EVERYWHERE and a whole bunch of junk all over the floor...and yeah this is all my fault...i just didnt realize how much i have to clean!!! I have to have my room cleaned by the end of the month if not-I'm in big trouble.
My hair is permed now:) I have pretty waves:) My hair looks shorter now though...its different.
I was at Cost Cutters for three hours yesterday. And the chemicals they use for perms-reeks. Like rotton eggs and gym socks. Not a pretty combonation.
It was gross-but worth it.
I know i haven't posted since a few days ago i just haven't found the time to come on the computer and post. I was gonna post about my cousins Elmo themed first birthday party...but I didnt have the time. And I dont have the time now either.
But in short words-it was adorable!
She's so sweet she would stumble around the house in her little pink princess party dress.
And i began to think-life is so perfect for her right now. theres like no problems in her little girl life. No worries.
Sometimes I wish i could just have a day like that.
No worries. Gosh wouldn't that be nice...
Well...I should go clean my room.
Maybe once i can see the floor it might be my place to be for a while:)

The life of this boring teenager...

Hey.
Babysitting was pretty easy. I got a lot of money. Enough to pay for the perm i'm getting next week:) Good by straight hair. Hello waves! haha
I got home like four hours ago. I'm pretty bored. I'm sitting here with my T.V on my computer here infront of me my phone and ipod beside me and a snack of popcorn and coffe. Ugh! I need a life. hahaha I've said that so many times.
When will my life begin...Thats a song from the movie Tangled isn't it.
It's summer. I should be outside running around! Having fun with my friends. Laying beside the pool tanning in the sun!
But no. Mother Nature decides that this summer will be cold leaving me trapped inside my house. Which i am clearly sick of.
I like rain-but when its raining and storming here constantly it makes me mad:( gr.
Hopefully next week will be sunny and I can be outside...see a few friends. Live a little life. Something that gets me out of my house!

More babysitting...
From 8:30am until 1:00pm.
Just...perfect.
I mean- great that I'm getting out of taking care of abusive 5 year olds-but I'm super tired.
I love these kids to death, but im not in the mood to leave the house...or my computer.
Maybe I'll just sit the kids down infront of the T.V and fall asleep...
I can't take my phone or my ipod either cause I'm kinda grounded....again.
So yeah...this is just perfect...:(
I'm gonna go find something to eat...not that there's anything good around here....

Heres alittle about myself.
I'm strange. But loveable. I can be really loud or the exact opposite.
I think...alot. Wich is a surprise to some of my friends ;P There's just so much to think about in a world like this.

I love to text.
I hate being alone.
I'm DEATHLY terrified of hights and death because of falling from hights.
I play clarinet.
I eat alot of food and well it seems i dont get fat from it.
I talk...just a little to much.
I LOVE softball with all my heart. (Hitting stuff with a metal bat is pretty awesome. Or scaring the crap outta people with a fast pitch.)
Hmmm...now that I'm making a list-I just cant seem to think of more to add...maybe that will be my next post.
